Job summary

bioMerieux is seeking a National Field System Engineer to deliver on-site installation, preventive and corrective maintenance for customer instruments across the United States. You will troubleshoot electro‑mechanical systems, manage a forward-looking service itinerary, and coordinate with dispatchers and regional leadership.

The role requires a bachelor's degree or 6+ years of relevant experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high service

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or related discipline is required.
• 2+ years troubleshooting electro-mechanical, electronic, or electrical systems is required.
• Education substitution: 6+ years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Installations, preventive and corrective maintenance of bioMerieux instruments.
• Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical and computer systems to board level.
• Travel regularly within the US and for national requirements.
• Build strong customer relationships and identify service or sales opportunities.
• Document service activities and maintain quality records.
• Support sales, applications, marketing, and service teams.
• Participate in trade shows and provide product feedback.
