Job summary

Blue Water Thinking in Aurora, CO is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician - Info/Sys to ensure the reliability, safety, and cybersecurity of networked medical equipment. Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment installation, software updates, and CMMS recordkeeping, with Cerner experience preferred.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree, 3+ years hospital experience, strong networking and information-security knowledge, and ability to work with IT

Qualifications

Two-year associate degree or higher in an applied science or equivalent military training.
Minimum of three years hospital or healthcare experience performing medical equipment maintenance.
Experience with medical information systems and networking including TCP/IP, HL7, and DICOM standards.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on networked medical equipment.
Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to implement device security protocols.
Install, calibrate, configure, and update medical equipment and software.
Maintain CMMS records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Provide staff training on proper operation of networked medical equipment.
