Blue Water Thinking, LLC is seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician – Info/Sys to ensure reliability and safety of networked medical equipment in a healthcare facility. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, cybersecurity collaboration, device installations, and support for Cerner EHR integration.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree or higher in an applied science or equivalent military training.
• Minimum of three years of hospital or healthcare experience performing medical equipment maintenance.
• Experience with medical information systems and networking.
• Experience with TCP/IP, HL7, networking, network security and DICOM standards.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on networked medical equipment.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions per manufacturer guidelines.
• Carry out incoming inspections of new medical equipment to verify safety and functionality.
• Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to implement medical device security protocols.
• Install, calibrate, and configure medical equipment following manufacturer instructions.
• Address hazard and safety recalls related to medical equipment.
• Perform software repairs and updates on medical devices.
• Maintain CMMS records of maintenance and inspections.
• Provide technical support and training to medical staff on equipment operation.
