B&I Contractors, Inc. seeks a BIM/VDC Coordinator - HVAC Pipe to lead model-based outputs for MEP systems, ensuring constructible deliverables and adherence to project scope and schedule. This role requires collaboration with Project Management, Field Ops, and other trades.

The incumbent will guide Detailers, manage workflow, and drive quality across the VDC lifecycle, including fabrication readiness and as-built records. Strong Revit and clash-detection skills are essential.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree, technical certificate, or trade school training in drafting, BIM, engineering technology, or construction preferred.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in BIM/VDC, mechanical detailing, or MEP coordination.
• Demonstrated experience producing coordinated mechanical models and construction-ready deliverables.
• Experience on commercial, industrial, healthcare, or similarly complex mechanical projects.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain accurate BIM models for mechanical systems per project requirements and company standards.
• Lead model updates based on coordination outcomes, design changes, and clash resolutions.
• Perform clash detection and communicate conflicts and resolutions to internal teams and trades.
• Ensure model structure, file organization, version control, and modeling compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide mentorship to Detailers and Trainees and support ongoing process improvements.
