Job summary

B&I Contractors, Inc. is seeking a BIM/VDC Coordinator - HVAC Pipe to lead development, coordination, and delivery of accurate model-based outputs for MEP systems.

The role collaborates with Project Management, Field Operations, and other trades to ensure constructible models align with scope, schedule, and quality expectations. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in BIM/VDC, strong Revit/Navisworks skills, and experience on commercial/industrial projects.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of BIM/VDC, mechanical detailing, or MEP coordination.
• Proficient in Revit for MEP modeling and coordination.
• Experience delivering constructible, model-based outputs for HVAC/mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate BIM models for mechanical systems per project requirements.
• Lead model updates from coordination meetings and design changes.
• Perform clash detection and communicate resolutions to teams.
• Ensure model structure, version control, and documentation adherence.
• Act as primary VDC contact for project scope updates and meetings.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Field Ops, and trades to align deliverables with schedule.
