B&I Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced BIM/VDC Team Lead - HVAC Pipe to lead the BIM/VDC group on commercial and industrial projects.

You will supervise Coordinators, Detailers, and Trainees, ensure model integrity, and coordinate with Project Management, Field Operations, and Fabrication Shop to deliver constructible, clash-free outputs. You will apply standards, templates, and detailing practices, mentor staff, and drive workflow improvements.

Qualifikationen

• 5–8+ years BIM/VDC, mechanical detailing, or MEP coordination in construction.
• 3+ years of leadership or team management experience (lead detailer, senior coordinator, supervisor).
• Experience on commercial, industrial, healthcare, or large-scale mechanical projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction sequencing, and field installation practices.

Aufgaben

• Oversee development of coordinated, constructible mechanical models for fabrication and installation.
• Lead clash detection and resolution with internal teams and external trades.
• Review and approve VDC deliverables ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Mentor Coordinators, Detailers, and Trainees; reinforce standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Field Operations, and Fabrication Shop to align VDC with project goals.
