B&I Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced BIM/VDC Coordinator - HVAC Duct to lead the development and coordination of model-based outputs for MEP systems in Florida.

The role requires strong knowledge of company standards and project requirements, with collaboration across Project Management and Field Operations. The successful candidate will mentor Detailers, address coordination conflicts, and ensure deliverables meet schedule, scope, and quality expectations while supporting continuous

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of BIM/VDC experience or equivalent.
• Proficient in Revit for MEP modeling and coordination.
• Experience with Navisworks for clash detection and review.
• Strong understanding of SMACNA/MEP detailing practices is a plus.
• Ability to mentor Detailers and Trainees and lead small coordination tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate BIM models for mechanical systems per project standards.
• Lead model updates from coordination meetings and design changes.
• Perform clash detection and track issues with clear resolutions.
• Ensure model organization, version control, and documentation across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Field Operations, and other trades to align deliverables with schedule.
• Provide technical guidance and onboarding for new team members and trainees.
