Job summary

B&I Contractors, Inc. is seeking an experienced BIM/VDC Coordinator - Plumbing to lead model development and coordination for complex MEP projects in Florida.

The role emphasizes constructible, standards-compliant outputs and collaboration with Project Management, Field Operations, and trade partners to drive successful delivery. You will mentor detailers, manage workflow, and enforce company standards while supporting fabrication readiness, installation planning, and record documentation

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical training in BIM/engineering preferred.
Minimum 4+ years in BIM/VDC, mechanical detailing or MEP coordination.
Experience delivering construction-ready, model-based outputs for mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Develop, coordinate, and deliver constructible BIM models for mechanical systems.
Lead model updates from coordination meetings and design changes.
Perform clash detection and communicate conflicts and resolutions.
