Job summary

Stantec is seeking a BIM Technician to join the Buildings team in San Francisco. You will work under the BIM team on small to medium projects or as part of larger teams on bigger projects, focusing on setting up BIM models, documentation, and model coordination.

You will work with Revit, Navisworks, and Office tools, contributing to design development, clash detection, and data management while mentoring staff and delivering accurate deliverables.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in architectural/engineering design or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with Revit or equivalent.
• Experience in architectural/engineering/construction industry preferred.
• Familiarity with structural design in built environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up new BIM models and maintain project file structure.
• Prepare drawing documentation with project managers and design staff.
• Work in Revit Structure on 3D projects, manage multiple models and views.
• Create electronic data files per company and client requirements.
• Convert markups to document-ready deliverables and manage drawing sets.
