Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team is seeking a BIM Technician in US West to deliver BIM and CAD project documentation. You will collaborate with BIM Technicians, project managers, engineers, and other disciplines to develop coordinated models, support ACC/BIM 360 workflows, and ensure projects meet established standards.

You will set up and maintain Revit models, manage workflows, produce 2D and 3D deliverables, and coordinate across teams to ensure timely, accurate results.

Qualifications

• Certificate from technical college and at least 2 years of relevant experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Related experience in the engineering/contractor industry.
• Familiarity with mechanical, plumbing, medical gases, electrical, lighting, and technology design within the built environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and update Revit models and CAD drawings in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
• Manage and support project workflows within ACC/BIM 360, including model hosting, publishing, and coordination.
• Produce accurate 2D documentation and coordinated 3D models.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other disciplines to support integrated project delivery, including clash detection and model coordination.
• Convert markups/redlines into high-quality, document ready deliverables.
• Manage drawing production, sheet setup, and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with company, client, and project BIM/CAD standards.
• Provide day-to-day technical support for AutoCAD and Revit users.
