Job summary

Stantec is seeking a BIM Technician in US West to play a key role in the delivery of BIM and CAD project documentation. You will work closely with Other BIM Technicians, project managers, engineers, and other disciplines to develop coordinated models and drawings, support ACC/BIM 360 workflows, and help ensure projects are delivered efficiently and in compliance with established standards.

Your capabilities include strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit, experience with ACC/BIM 360 environments,

Qualifications

Certificate from technical college and at least 2 years of relevant experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent.
Related experience in the engineering/contractor industry.
Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and technology design within the built environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up, maintain, and update Revit models and CAD drawings in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other disciplines to support integrated project delivery, including clash detection and model coordination.
Produce accurate 2D documentation and coordinated 3D models.
Manage drawing production, sheet setup, and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide day-to-day technical support for AutoCAD and Revit users.
