Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team seeks a BIM Technician in US West to play a key role in the delivery of BIM and CAD project documentation. You will work closely with Other BIM Technicians, project managers, engineers, and other disciplines to develop coordinated models and drawings, support ACC/BIM 360 workflows, and help ensure projects are delivered efficiently and in compliance with established standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate from technical college and at least 2 years of relevant experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with mechanical, plumbing, electrical and technology design within the built environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and update Revit models and CAD drawings per project requirements and standards.
• Manage ACC/BIM 360 workflows, including model hosting, publishing, and coordination.
• Produce accurate 2D documentation and coordinated 3D models.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and disciplines to support integrated project delivery, including clash detection and model coordination.
• Convert markups into high-quality, document-ready deliverables.
