Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team seeks a BIM Technician to support delivery of BIM and CAD project documentation in US West. You will work with BIM Technicians, project managers, engineers, and others to develop coordinated models and drawings and ensure standards compliance.

You will manage ACC/BIM 360 workflows, publish models, and coordinate across disciplines, performing clash detection and model coordination to deliver high-quality deliverables on time.

Qualifications

• Certificate from technical college and at least 2 years of relevant experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent
• Experience in engineering/contractor industry preferred
• Familiarity with mechanical, plumbing, electrical and technology design within built environments

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and update Revit models and CAD drawings per project requirements
• Support ACC/BIM 360 workflows including model hosting, publishing, coordination
• Produce accurate 2D documentation and coordinated 3D models
• Coordinate with managers, engineers, and disciplines for integrated delivery
• Convert markups into high-quality deliverables
• Manage drawing production, sheets, and revisions throughout the lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with BIM/CAD standards
• Provide day-to-day technical support for AutoCAD and Revit
• Assist with model content, updates, and family management
• Work across multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team
