Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a BIM Technician for US West to deliver BIM/CAD project documentation.

You will collaborate with BIM Technicians, project managers, engineers and other disciplines to develop coordinated models and drawings, support ACC/BIM 360 workflows, and ensure compliance with standards. You will maintain Revit and AutoCAD models, coordinate with managers and engineers for integrated delivery, and translate markups into high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Certificate from technical college and at least 2 years of relevant experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent.
• Experience in ACC/BIM 360 environments, including model collaboration, publishing, and coordination workflows, is preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical, plumbing, electrical and technology design within the built environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and update Revit models and CAD drawings in accordance with project requirements and company standards.
• Manage and support project workflows within ACC/BIM 360, including model hosting, publishing, and coordination.
• Produce accurate 2D documentation and coordinated 3D models.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other disciplines to support integrated project delivery, including clash detection and model coordination.
• Convert markups/redlines into high-quality, document ready deliverables.
• Manage drawing production, sheet setup, and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with company, client, and project BIM/CAD standards.
• Provide day-to-day technical support for AutoCAD and Revit users.
• Assist with model content, updates, and family management as needed.
• Work across multiple projects, managing priorities and communicating proactively to meet deadlines.
• Operate effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
