DLA Piper in the United States is seeking a Manager, Client Accounts to lead billing support for senior management, lawyers, and firm clients. You will drive best practices in global billing and reporting and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate results.

This hybrid role requires 7+ years in a law firm billing function, 2+ years in management, advanced Excel and experience with Elite and/or Aderant, plus strong e-Billing know-how.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in a billing function in a law or professional services firm.
• Two years of experience in a management or supervisory position is highly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency of Excel as well as accounting systems such as Elite and/or Aderant (Aderant experience strongly preferred).
• Advanced experience with e-Billing applications is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly billing close and reporting processes, providing issue-resolution guidance.
• Leads Client Account Analysts, ensuring alignment with firm billing practices, policies, and procedures.
• Escalates unresolved global billing or reporting issues to senior management for timely resolution.
• Tracks team metrics and reporting to maintain exceptional client service.
• Onboards new team members and provides guidance on global billing processes and required training.
• Serves as escalation point for clients, attorneys, and business professionals.
