Job summary

IMEG is seeking a Billing Specialist in Fairfax, VA to serve as the primary liaison between project teams and Accounting. You will manage billing, accounts receivable, and project setup, while reviewing timesheets and vendor invoices to ensure accuracy.

You will collaborate with Client Execs and team members, maintaining confidentiality and contributing to precise financial workflows. This full-time hybrid role offers ESOP and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2-year post-high school education is required or preferred.
• Experience in engineering or construction industry is a plus.
• Prior billing experience or knowledge of Deltek-Vantagepoint is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project initiation and setup in Vision, ensuring contract terms and contacts are accurate.
• Review contracts for unusual terms that may affect billings.
• Request and review billing information from team members for accuracy.
• Prepare monthly client billings and review for accuracy.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid amounts.
• Communicate with clients on commercial matters and build client relationships.
• Review and approve timesheets and expense reports.
• Enter sub consultant invoices and manage payment terms.
