The position requires a high school diploma or GED with 2+ years of billing experience; proficient communication skills, and strong MS Office/Oracle knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with 2+ years of billing experience; higher levels of education add 1+ year relevant experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to document resolutions.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Oracle; attentive to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Process billing transactions, invoices, credits, and account adjustments within timelines.
• Set up and maintain customer accounts in billing systems.
• Audit billing information for accuracy and completeness; resolve discrepancies.
• Post payments and adjustments to customer accounts; monitor reports for exceptions.
• Assist with collections-related activities and payment tracking; gather information across departments.
• Maintain records and supporting documentation; follow billing policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.
