Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking a Reconciliation Specialist to support our billing teams by reconciling therapy session payments and posting to billing systems with strict HIPAA confidentiality. You will work with insurers to ensure timely reimbursement and maintain accurate accounts receivable across our platforms.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and experience with insurance portals. We offer full-time hourly work with a supportive team and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years of payment posting experience.
• ABA experience preferred.
• Experience using insurance portals/websites.
• Excellent communication and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile payments posted from the clearinghouse.
• Post manual payments across billing platforms (Rethink, Tebra, Azalea).
• Review EOBs/ERAs and payor contracts when applicable.
• Enroll in ERAs to reduce manual posting and track enrollment progress.
• Identify underpayments/overpayments and coordinate resolutions.
• Monitor key metrics and communicate trends to AR team.
