Zusammenfassung

RethinkFirst in the United States (TX remote opportunities) is seeking a Reconciliation Specialist to support our billing team by reconciling therapy session payments and posting them to customers’ billing systems. You will review EOBs/ERAs, reconcile payments from the clearinghouse, and communicate trends to the AR team while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality and accuracy across platforms.

The role requires 1–2 years of payment posting experience, ABA exposure, and strong attention to detail,

Qualifikationen

• HIPAA-compliant confidentiality in handling client data.
• 1–2 years payment posting experience.
• ABA experience.
• Experience using insurance company websites/portals.
• Professional phone skills.
• This role requires exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking and excellent communication with internal teams and insurance companies.

Aufgaben

• Reconcile payments posted electronically from the clearinghouse.
• Post manual payments in all billing platforms (Rethink, Kareo, Azalea).
• Review and interpret EOBs and ERAs.
• Post payments from insurance portals.
• Enroll in ERAs when applicable to reduce volume of manual posting & monitor/track progress of enrollment requests.
• Communicate trends identified when posting to AR teams for client.
• Identify underpayments/overpayments & ensure proper communication across teams for resolution.
• Measure and monitor key metrics related to work performance.
• Review & interpret payor contracts when applicable.
