Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking a Reconciliation Specialist to support our billing team by reconciling therapy session payments and posting them across billing platforms. The role emphasizes HIPAA confidentiality and precise accounts receivable management.

You will review EOBs and ERAs, post portal payments, enroll ERAs when applicable, and communicate trends to the Customer Billing Advocate and AR teams to resolve underpayments and improve cash flow for our autism services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of payment posting experience.
• Experience with insurance company portals.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• HIPAA confidentiality standards must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile payments posted electronically from the clearinghouse.
• Post manual payments in billing platforms (Rethink, Tebra, Azalea).
• Review and interpret EOBs and ERAs.
• Post payments from insurance portals and enroll ERAs when applicable.
• Communicate trends to AR teams for client accounts.
