Job summary

Kenny Electric Services Inc is seeking a Billing Coordinator to prepare all job billings, support documentation, and related administrative tasks. The role supports the VP of Operations and project managers by ensuring timely billings and accurate financial records.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of accounting-related experience (construction preferred), strong MS Office skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in accounting-related functions with construction experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all job billings and supporting documents (pay apps, lien releases, sub/supplier docs).
• Assists PMs with tracking job progress and timely billings.
• Prepares jobs for closeout and handles vendor invoicing questions.
• Generates new customer/vendor setup forms and collects W-9s and certs.
• Enters budgets, SOV, and change orders into systems; creates job numbers and work orders.
• Tracks open POs and closes unused ones; runs PM/leadership reports; conducts filing.
• Performs scheduling, dispatching, and field coordination; provides admin support as needed.
