Job summary

HeadFirst Group is seeking a Billing Manager to lead end-to-end billing across multiple lines, ensuring accurate invoicing and strong cash-flow support in a fast-paced environment.

You will own billing operations, drive controls, manage escalations, and partner with Payroll, Finance, Sales, Operations, Credit & Collections, and Client Services to protect revenue and optimize processes. This role requires leadership and a proven track record in high-volume billing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Five+ years in billing, accounts receivable, finance operations, or back-office roles.
• Three+ years of leadership experience managing operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of invoicing, billing, accounts receivable, and revenue controls.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ERP/pay/bill platform experience.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily billing operations across multiple business lines and customer programs.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoice generation and delivery in accordance with contractual and client requirements.
• Monitor billing productivity, backlog, cycle times, and service-level performance.
• Manage exception reporting, prioritization, and resolution processes.
• Ensure adherence to established billing policies, procedures, and controls.
