Springborn Staffing is partnering with a well-established transportation and logistics company seeking a Billing Specialist to join their team in Portland, ME. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in invoices, billing processes, and data entry within a busy office.

The successful candidate will learn systems, support accounting and operations, and enjoy a stable weekday schedule with on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to learn new systems and processes.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Process invoices and billing transactions accurately and timely.
• Enter and verify information in company systems.
• Review supporting documentation to ensure billing requirements are met.
• Upload invoices and related documents to customer portals as needed.
• Monitor and respond to billing-related emails.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and missing information.
• Communicate with internal departments to gather information needed for invoicing.
• Maintain organized billing records and documentation.
• Assist with general administrative and office tasks as needed.
• Support the accounting and operations teams with special projects and other duties.
