Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Welcome Coordinator who is bilingual in Spanish to create an inclusive, caring environment for patients and visitors. You will greet patients, assist with check-in, manage forms, and coordinate appointments while maintaining accurate records and coordinating with the front desk team.

The role requires strong computer skills, professional phone etiquette, and fluency in Spanish (or other languages as needed). US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages as needed in communities served.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and guests
• Check-in and assist patients with required forms
• Collect co-pays
• Update patient information in electronic medical records
• Schedule/reschedule appointments in the EMR system
• Answer and route phone calls; perform outbound calls as instructed
• Manage faxes in the electronic fax platform
• Maintain cleanliness of Welcome and Community Room areas
• May float to other centers regionally as needed
• Other duties as assigned
