Job summary

Credit Union of Texas is seeking a bilingual Virtual Member Relationship Specialist to serve new and current members via video banking, phone, and secure messaging in English and Spanish. You will identify financial needs, open memberships and accounts, and process loans while delivering an exceptional, empathetic member experience.

You will work with branch teams to deepen relationships, ensure compliance with BSA/AML and other regulations, and use AI-enabled tools under human-in-the-loop

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish with ability to translate financial concepts.
• Experience in member service, sales, banking, or consumer lending preferred.
• Knowledge of consumer lending and account opening processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new virtual banking relationships via video calls, phone, and digital messaging in English and Spanish.
• Communicate proactively with members using video banking, secure messaging, email, and other channels.
• Deliver empathetic, culturally responsive service to members with every interaction.
• Open memberships and depository accounts; process consumer loans and account maintenance via virtual channels.
• Evaluate credit information within delegated authority to balance revenue and risk.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities for CUTX products and services.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with CUTX policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with branch teams to maximize sales and seamless handoffs between virtual and in‑branch service.
• Maintain knowledge of CUTX products, pricing, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
