Job summary

Behavioral Health Solutions of South Texas in Pharr, TX is seeking a Training and Support Specialist to plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate employee and community learning initiatives. You will partner with the Human Resources Director to ensure onboarding and training programs are effectively designed, delivered, and continually improved, using a variety of instructional methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 1–2 years in training, learning & development, HR, or related field.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Assess training needs via surveys and interviews.
• Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and onboarding.
• Manage training logistics and materials.
• Develop training manuals and job aids.
• Deliver engaging training with varied methods.
• Maintain training records and certifications.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and suggest improvements.
• Stay updated on L&D trends and best practices.
• Assist with equipment inventory and HR-related tasks.
• Prepare reports to support HR initiatives.
• Provide admin support for HR projects.
