Job summary

Citizens Bank in Dearborn, MI seeks a friendly Customer Service Specialist to greet customers in the lobby, demonstrate how to use the mobile app and ATMs, and help complete simple transactions while delivering personalized advice.

You’ll educate customers on Citizens products, connect them with Bankers for next steps, follow all policies and cash handling rules, and work with branch hours including weekends and evenings; all while delivering exceptional service and building long-term

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED
• Bilingual in Arabic or Spanish
• Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments)
• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers
• Strong listening and communication skills
• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long‑term customer relationship
• Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
• Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service
• Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in lobby and assist with using the mobile app or ATMs to complete transactions

• Follow all financial policies and procedures, including cash handling and regulations
