Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Augusta, ME is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, service, store appearance, and operations. The role may include shift management in absence of supervisors.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include leading team members in customer service, supervising showroom service levels, and processing in-store transactions and transfers.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts, is desirable.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge is a plus.
• ASE Certification is preferred.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Handle store operations such as opening/closing duties and proper money handling.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders efficiently and notify customers when shipments arrive.
• Ensure returns, exchanges, and refunds are processed accurately and merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and ensure merchandising tasks are completed as assigned.
