O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role includes shift management in the absence of store leadership, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

The position emphasizes strong communication, team supervision, and adherence to company policies across order processing, returns, and security responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge
• ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Answer calls per company policy and manage purchase orders, transfers, and shipments.
• Process special orders and outside purchases efficiently and accurately.
• Handle returns, refunds, and exchanges, and manage invoicing before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Oversee opening/closing duties, money handling, and security procedures.
