Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Manager and Assistants with sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role may assume shift management in managers’ absence, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include leading staff in customer service, overseeing showroom service programs, handling transfers, returns, and invoicing, and performing opening/closing duties and security checks.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom to include team member execution on customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders promptly and contact customers on shipment arrivals as needed.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Process and stage returns, issue refunds accurately, and ensure proper merchandise invoicing.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks to the team.
• Manage opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, money handling and security.
