Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, and store operations. The role may assume shift management in the absence of management, with bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

The position emphasizes leading teams, executing service programs, processing orders, handling returns, and ensuring proper invoicing and security procedures. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and execute programs like Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot.
• Ensure telephone calls are answered according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and transfers, and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases per procedure and ledger.
• Manage returns/exchanges and issue refunds with correct methods.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced and Zipline messages and merchandising tasks are delegated.
• Monitor work schedule adherence; clock-in/out per policy; perform opening/closing duties.
• Perform day end procedures and secure money/deposits; manage bank deposits as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
