Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care in Texas is seeking a licensed SLPA to provide skilled speech therapy services to pediatric patients in home health or daytime facility settings. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish skills and a Texas SLPA licensure, with at least 6 months of full-time clinical experience and pediatrics exposure.

You will schedule supervision visits with an SLP, collaborate with the care team, and contribute to care plans while staying updated on the latest professional

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and professional activities.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by ownership of new requests and value-add.
