Job summary

NorthTexas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed SLPA to provide pediatric speech therapy services in patients' homes or daytime facilities, following physician orders and supervising guidelines. The role requires current Texas SLPA licensure, at least 6 months of full-time clinical experience in pediatrics, and Spanish bilingual proficiency; home health experience is preferred.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in ongoing supervision and knowledge

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in the patient’s home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visit(s) with supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
• Enhances speech therapy reputation by accepting new requests and adding value to job accomplishments.
