Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support pediatric clients in home health and daytime clinic settings. The role requires bilingual English/Spanish, Texas SLPA licensure, and at least 6 months of full-time clinical experience with pediatrics.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual English/Spanish.
• Current Texas SLPA licensure.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatrics experience required.
• Home Health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides services in the patient’s home or daytime facility.
• Schedules weekly supervision visits with supervising SLP according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by continuing education and professional engagement.
• Contributes to program development and patient care improvements.
