Job Summary

A growing organization in the vacation ownership and hospitality industry is hiring Bilingual Spanish Collectors for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Maitland, FL. This 100% on-site role is ideal for candidates who are confident on the phone, comfortable discussing past-due balances, and skilled at helping customers find professional, solution-focused payment options.

As a Bilingual Spanish Collector, you will join a collaborative collections team that works closely with customer service, accounting, finance, and servicing departments. Key Responsibilities

• Contact customers regarding past-due mortgage, HOA, maintenance fee, and related account balances.
• Conduct high-volume collection outreach by phone and other approved communication channels.
• Negotiate payment arrangements within established company guidelines.
• Document all collection activity, customer conversations, payment commitments, and account updates accurately.
• Research and resolve account discrepancies, payment questions, and billing concerns.
• Identify accounts requiring escalation and partner with internal teams to support timely resolution.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay: $18.00 per hour.
• Position type: Temp-to-hire.
• Location: Maitland, FL.
• Work arrangement: 100% on-site.
• Schedule: Two days from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and three days from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Weekends: Closed unless overtime is offered.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Contact customers about delinquent mortgage, HOA, and maintenance fee balances.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and solutions in a professional call center environment.
• Monitor assigned accounts, document activity, and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with customer service, accounting, finance, and servicing teams.
• Bilingual English and Spanish skills required.
• 1 to 2 years of related experience required, with 2 or more years of collections, customer service, call center, sales, mortgage servicing, or related experience preferred.
• Prior collections experience strongly preferred.
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM required, with typing speed testing required.
• Strong phone communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive financial conversations with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, follow-through, and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with productivity, quality, attendance, and performance expectations.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.

Preferred Qualifications

• High-volume outbound call center experience.
• Experience in vacation ownership, mortgage, real estate, hospitality, financial services, or account servicing.
• Previous experience working with past-due accounts, payment plans, account research, or customer account resolution.
