Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a Bilingual Collector for a 100% on-site role in Maitland, FL. You will contact customers about past-due balances, negotiate payment plans, and collaborate with multiple teams to resolve accounts, while delivering professional, empathetic service in English and Spanish.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of collections or related experience, strong communication skills, and a credible track record handling sensitive financial conversations.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Call center or high-volume outbound calling experience is a plus.
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM required.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers with past-due balances by phone and other channels.
• Negotiate payment arrangements within company guidelines.
• Document collection activity and monitor accounts.
• Collaborate with customer service, accounting, and servicing teams.
• Escalate issues per policy while maintaining confidentiality.
