Job summary

Lukos LLC is hiring a Custody and Resource Coordinator to support ICE detainees at designated detention facilities, including Adelanto. The role involves trauma-informed case work, language assistance, and facilitating access to essential services for vulnerable individuals.

The position requires strong English and Spanish communication, experience in victim services, and the ability to coordinate with ERO staff to maintain a safe detention environment and address detainee needs effectively.

Qualifications

• Degree must be accredited by a U.S. Department of Education recognized entity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or an equivalent degree.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, written and oral.
• Master’s degree or an equivalent advanced degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with needs, requests, and complaints from detained noncitizens regarding non-officer or immigration case matters.
• Assist ERO officers with detainee requests related to family communication and child welfare involvement.
• Coordinate disability accommodations and follow-up with detention facilities upon submission of notices.
• Facilitate discussions on allegations of abuse, pregnant noncitizens, and housing in special units.
• Provide information on available services and referrals to appropriate staff.
• Support noncitizens with specialized needs and conduct wellness checks upon request.
• Meet newly detained noncitizens during or after intake to answer questions and orient to CRC services.
• Assist facilities running specialized housing and programs for vulnerable populations.
