Job summary

Lukos LLC. is seeking a Social Worker – Custody and Removal Coordinator to support ICE detention facilities and field offices. The role focuses on trauma-informed care, victim support, and coordination of services for detained noncitizens, including language interpretation and crisis response.

The position requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, experience in multi-cultural settings, and compliance with DHS background requirements. Travel may be required within the U.S. as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Social work, Psychology, or equivalent.
• Master’s degree preferred but not required.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and oral) is required or preferred depending on position.

Responsibilities

• Assist detained noncitizens with needs, requests, and complaints.
• Support ERO staff with detainee requests related to family communication and child welfare.
• Coordinate disability accommodations with detention facilities and HQ.
• Facilitate discussions on abuse, pregnancy, housing in special units, and release planning.
• Provide language interpretation for facility staff and detainees.
• Develop and maintain a national resource database to aid release and removal processes.
