Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts in Warren, MI is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Manager and assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in absence of leadership and encourages bilingual applicants.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification recommended.
• Spanish language ability highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Ensure all buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders are processed promptly and customers are contacted on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges, issue refunds, and organize returned merchandise.
• Invoice merchandise including core charges and warranties before shipment.
• Ensure Zipline messages are communicated and merchandising tasks delegated.
• Adhere to posted work schedule and clock in/out per policy, perform opening/closing duties.
