Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistants in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may assume shift management in the Manager’s absence.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Essential functions include leading a team to deliver excellent service to retail and professional customers, and ensuring timely processing of orders, transfers, and returns.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are required.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels in the showroom and ensure program execution (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc.).
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders promptly with customer contact on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process returns and exchanges accurately and friendly; issue refunds with correct methods.
• Invoice merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Monitor adherence to posted work schedules; clock-in/out per policy.
• Perform opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, secure money/deposits, and lock/secure the building.
• All other duties as assigned.
