Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts seeks a Retail Service Specialist to support store leadership in sales, service, and operations. This role may shift-manage in the absence of the Store Manager and encourages bilingual candidates.

Responsibilities include supervising service standards, processing orders, handling returns, invoices, and ensuring security and schedule adherence. Strong communication and RSS certification are required or encouraged.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience is desirable, especially in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge is desirable.
• ASE Certification is desirable.
• Fluency in multiple languages, Spanish highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels in the showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Answer telephone according to policy and manage inbound inquiries.
• Process buy online/ship to store and transfers promptly; notify customers on shipments.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using the ledger system.
• Process returns and exchanges and issue refunds using correct methods.
• Invoice merchandise including core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules and proper clock-in/out procedures.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day end procedures, and secure deposits and building.
• Other duties as assigned.
