Responsibilities include appointment scheduling, information verification, patient outreach, and collaboration with the Patient Benefits Coordinator.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of office, administrative, patient care, call center or customer service experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish with ALTA score of 9 qualifies for differential pay.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and Epic systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel; ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manages the multi-line scheduling phone queue and transfers calls to appropriate personnel.
• Schedules patient appointments for medical and integrated providers per guidelines and time needs.
• Verify and update patient demographics, contact, insurance, and income information.
• Notifies patients of schedule changes and updates schedules accordingly.
• Schedules with the Patient Benefits Coordinator as needed for benefits/insurance options.
• Manages scheduling work queues: cancellations/no-show, recall, rescheduling, waitlist.
• Coordinates scheduling with Patient Benefits Coordinators as appropriate.
• Performs outreach calls for registries and patients, provides backup to Front Office.
