Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist in Beaumont, TX to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. The role may require shift management in the absence of leadership.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Core duties include supervising showroom service levels, processing orders and transfers, handling returns, invoicing merchandise, and ensuring accurate cash handling and security procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and customer service experience.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification within a reasonable timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels in the showroom and ensure team executes on service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders; contact customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently using the outside purchase ledger.
• Process retail returns and exchanges; issue refunds correctly and stage returned merchandise appropriately.
• Ensure all merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store, including core charges and warranties.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks to team members.
• Ensure adherence to posted work schedules, with approvals for deviations and proper clock-in/out.
• Perform store opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, deposits, and securing the store and alarms.
• All other duties as assigned.
