Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will run the store when the Manager is absent and lead the team in servicing customers.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise service levels on the showroom, executing customer service programs.
• Help ensure staffing at the sales counter during peak hours.
• Assist in setting team goals and coaching team members.
• Assist in hiring by recruiting, interviewing and selecting qualified staff.
• Ensure calls are answered per policy.
• Process B.O. online/ship-to-store and transfers in a timely manner.
• Oversee returns, exchanges and refunds with correct methods.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before leaving the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages; delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure adherence to schedules and clock-in/out practices.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and security checks.
