Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will lead the team in serving customers and managing shifts during the Store Manager’s absence.

Qualifications

• Requires Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
• Desired: ASE Certification and Certified Parts Professional Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service.
• Supervise showroom customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Staff the retail sales counter during peak hours (lunch, late afternoons, evenings, weekends).
• Assist in hiring by recruiting, interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Perform opening/closing duties, day-end procedures, and secure money and premises.
