Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will lead the team in servicing customers and will step in during the Store Manager's absence.

Qualifications

• Must have Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Work with the store manager to staff the retail sales counter during peak hours.
• Assist the store manager in setting team goals, coaching, and mentoring.
• Assist in the hiring process by recruiting, interviewing, and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure phone calls are answered per policy.
• Process all online orders, ship-to-store transfers, and related orders efficiently and contact customers as needed.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks as assigned.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and day-end procedures, including money handling and security checks.
• All other duties as assigned.
