Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. This role will lead the store team during the Store Manager’s absence and/or opposing shifts, ensuring top service for customers.

You will help set goals, coach staff, participate in interviews, and ensure staffing during peak hours. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and growth opportunities exist within a strong promote-from-within culture.

Qualifications

• Requires Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise the customer service levels on the showroom floor and programs.
• Ensure adequate staffing during peak hours and shifts.
• Assist in hiring by conducting interviews and selecting qualified team members.
• Manage orders, transfers, and invoicing to customers in a timely manner.
• Perform opening/closing duties and secure money and premises.
