Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. You will lead the team in servicing customers, manage peak staffing, and mentor team members while participating in hiring and training processes.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training and RSS certification are required.
• Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification required.
• Spanish language ability is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom floor and ensure staffing during peak hours.
• Assist store manager in hiring tasks and interviewing, evaluating candidates.
• Coach and mentor team members and manage training compliance.
• Ensure all orders, transfers, and shipments are processed timely and customers contacted as needed.
• Manage returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately and efficiently.
• Perform opening/closing duties and secure the store per policy.
