Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support Store Manager and Assistants in sales, service, appearance, and operations. You will help the team deliver outstanding service to retail and professional customers and lead by example on the sales floor.

This role may assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of leadership, manage opening/closing duties, and ensure accurate cash handling and deposits per policy, while supporting company programs.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution of customer service programs.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to company policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before it leaves the store and returns are processed properly.
• Coordinate Zipline messages and merchandising tasks; ensure schedule adherence and proper clock-in/out.
