Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Service Specialist to support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This role may assume shift management duties in the absence of leadership.

Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. The position emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and efficient handling of store processes such as BOP/ship-to-store, transfers, and returns.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to obtain RSS Certification.
• Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts.
• Automotive systems and repair knowledge.
• ASE Certification.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the showroom and ensure program execution.
• Ensure telephone is answered according to policy.
• Process buy online/ship to store transfers and notify customers on shipment arrivals.
• Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently per procedure.
• Process returns/exchanges, issue refunds, and stage returned merchandise.
• Ensure merchandise is invoiced before product leaves the store.
• Communicate Zipline messages and delegate merchandising tasks.
• Ensure staff clock in/out and adhere to posted schedule.
• Perform store opening/closing duties and bank deposit procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.
